The ceramitec talks stages in Halls A4 and A6 will once again serve as central hubs for knowledge transfer and exchange in 2028. Over the course of three days, you can look forward to a diverse program featuring discussions, presentations, and thought-provoking insights—delivered by industry insiders, external partners, experts, and up-and-coming talent.

Exclusive deep dives into the diverse world of ceramics
Join us for guided tours featuring 2028 selected exhibitors and gain exclusive insights into a variety of topics. Participation is free of charge. The guided tours last approximately 45 minutes and are conducted in English.

The ceramitec 2028 CareerDay is aimed at students and young professionals and combines an informative program with targeted networking opportunities to help you launch or advance your career.
Young Innovators
Following the great success of previous event, the Young Innovators joint stand, sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, will once again be featured at ceramitec.
ceramitec Women's Forum: Connect and Inspire
The future needs diversity and strong voices. That is why the Womeninceramics and Women@Refractories networks are joining forces to empower women in the industry and make the ceramics and refractories industry even more attractive to talented individuals. On the first day of the trade fair, they were teaming up with ceramitec to offer an inspiring program for women and men who want to drive change, build networks, and break new ground together.
Conference on calcined clays
Calcined clays are a promising solution for reducing CO₂ emissions in the construction industry. They make it possible to significantly reduce the demand for traditional cement—with considerably lower emissions. As this raw material is available worldwide, it offers enormous potential for green transformation and new business opportunities.
ceramitec 2026 will provided a platform for this topic with the conference "Activated Clay as Cementitious Supplementary Material for the Reduction of CO²". Partners of the conference within the VDMA were the European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS) and the VDZ - Verein Deutscher Zementwerke e.V. (Association of German Cement Works).
Exhibition Ceramic Components: Hidden Champions in Industry and Everyday Life
Hardly anything in industry and everyday life works without technical ceramics – from power grids, semiconductors, and aircraft engines to coffee machines. The exhibition curated by Ceramic Applications in the East Entrance used selected exhibits to show where ceramic components are used and why they act as invisible but indispensable "hidden champions."
Heavy Clay Experience
At ceramitec, the association ECTS (European Ceramic Technology Suppliers) presented an impressive exhibition on heavy-clay ceramics. Numerous ECTS member companies showcased their latest innovations and technological developments in this field. 14 renowned exhibitors were participating in the exhibition with exhibits, including Händle GmbH, Refratechnik Ceramics GmbH, Sabo S.A., and VHV Anlagenbau GmbH.
Visitors had the opportunity to experience the diversity of modern heavy-clay ceramics products and their manufacture at close quarters. The exhibition offered an exciting insight into current trends and forward-looking solutions in the industry. ECTS plays a key role in ensuring that innovation and exchange take place at an international level.
Speakers' Corner
Speakers' Corner provided at ceraitec 2026 an open stage for innovation, exchange, and inspiration—a meeting place where practical knowledge could be shared, trends discussed, and valuable contacts made with colleagues and industry experts. We cordially invite all exhibitors to actively participate and present their topics to an interested professional audience also at ceramitec 2028. More information will follow in January 2028.
